"Mind-melding Modular synths, MainStage 3 & Player systems."
It was during my annual visit to Singapore early 2017. My Electric Muse pal, Michael Spicer, and I got together to do a show-&-tell and some playing.
I had been using LogicPro and MainStage for several years. I write and record with LP, and use its companion app for live performance.
It had been quite a number of years since Electric Muse worked on a project, so we decided to meld our technologies (Michael's was modular synth tricks on his Eurorack) with improv as the technical goal.
The musical goal was to generate a meaningful performance; a performance that had structure and was attention-span-friendly i.e. 3-4 minutes long, that I nudged into shape post-pro.
